Message: Hi All,

I want to clarify the following :

I will have one Database Server. In which I will create 2 Databases. We need to create stand by DB for each. so I plan for only one stand by DB server in which both the stand by DB will reside. As per my knowledge it will not have any technical Problem. But allthough I want to confirm from you experts. over and above will there any licensing Issue ?

Regards,

Devang Joshi

Message: I am sorry, you will need to ask your Oracle representative or perhaps go to the Oracle Store and ask. I don't think anyone here wants to steer you wrong.

This will depend on what type of licensing you have currently, the size of the boxes you are going to put Oracle on and similar facts.

Tim Boles
