Oracle info: 11.2.0.4
Message: Oracle Experts,

Is there any specific reason to apply PSU Patch on Standby database first ?

My DB version is 11.2.0.4 on RHEL 6.3

If i apply PSU Patch on Primary first, what would the impact ?

Message: The documentation goes into detail about the reasoning.

https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/HABPT/schedule_outage.htm#HABPT5321

Although that is for 12c the same is echoed in support.oracle.com note
Oracle Patch Assurance - Data Guard Standby-First Patch Apply (Doc ID 1265700.1)

Read that and let us know if you have further questions.

Message: Hi,

actually none from above :), you should wait for Oracle to release PSU July 2017. They should release it today (18 July 2017).

Message: Hi,

please, simply don't ask such thing on forum (anyone, this one or any other one).
For now, the only thing you need to know and understand is this: there is a README.html with every PSU that you MUST read, it contains clear instructions about OPatch. If you think that you can patch such critical infrastructure piece, as any DBMS really is, without reading and understanding official document from Oracle, then stop and do yourself a favor and do not patch anything.

Regards,
Ales
