Os info: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.11 (Tikanga)
Oracle info: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
Message: Hi Guys

I am trying to startup my instance and I get the following errors:

SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Then the alert log shows the following:

I am not sure why the instance try to run the below ALTER statement during startup:

ALTER SYSTEM SET local_listener=' (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=127.0.0.1)(PORT=1521))','(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=127.0.0.1)(PORT=1524))','(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=127.0.0.1)(PORT=1523))','(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=127.0.0.1)(PORT=1525))' SCOPE=MEMORY SID='orcldb';

Message: As a followup I have added the parameter *.local_listener='(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=localhost)(PORT=1521))'. To avoid the ALTER statement, but still the instance get terminated.

I have created a separate init for testdb and I can start that instance without any issues.

But the original instance when I start with nomount it get aborted...

Please Help !!!
