Message: Hi,

When trying to conenct using SQL*Develoer, I get the following error:

You database connection has been reset. Any pending transactions or session state has been lost.

If I click on details, I get:

Does someone encountered that message before?
How to solve it?

Message: Hi Lauri,

Check https://www.thatjeffsmith.com/archive/2017/04/your-1-reason-for-upgrading-sql-developer-to-version-4-2/

Personally I always (latest) download SQL developer with builtin Java.

HTH, Philip

Message: Hi Philip,
It seems the problem was in the connect identifier... it has been changed wihout I be informed, and I still had the previous string.
Kind Regards
