Message: Hi,

you have to create new database and then import export dump to this "freshly" installed database. As you know system objects are not included in full export, that's why you need a working database to perform full import.

The main lesson that you should learn from thic incident (junior already learned a lot;-) is that you don't have a proper backup policy in place. Executing full datapump export (logical backup?) is not a proper backup method. It can be a handy supplement to RMAN backup (for restoring infividual tables, PL/SQL objects etc.), but you should never rely on expdp/impdp as a main backup method (been there, done that....25+ years ago;-).
You have to use RMAN for backup.

Regards,
Ales

Imho, if you care about this database then you'll create a new one and import data, if it is a toy database, then you can try your luck with CreateDBCatalog.sql (main script that DBCA generates for building a catalog).

Ales
