Message: Hi Team,
I have joined a new project where I can see star/ snow flake model is used everywhere. There are around 20 around reference/dimension tables and 3 fact tables . Fact tables are not holding any measures as such but requirement is like that only except few count information .

All table holds active_ind or status columns . Only rows with Active_ind or status ='A' are used for processing / reporting.

They have build reports top on prod database only. Since their is no criteria on date as such all active record are processed .
I can see lot of gaps in modelling which is causing performance issues even with few thousand rows.

I need to restructure the DB and tune queries . Need guidelines for the same as never seen such hybrid model in OLTP
