Os info: solarris 11
Oracle info: 11204
Message: Hello,

We have lost root password (one member changed it and dont remember). Is there any way to reset it.

This is node 2 in 11.2.0.4 RAC database. grid and oracle users works fine.

Node 1 root, grid, oracle users are fine.

Os is Solalris 11.3

Please help.

if you are lucky and "ssh" has been set up between the two nodes, from node1 as root user you might maybe perform "ssh node2" and then change the password to something you'll remember...
