I need your expert advice.

How much number of records we should keep in the oracle table and archived the remaining ones.

So that our tables which have millions of records perform better in terms of processing insert/update/delete operations.

I would recommend archiving 42% of the records. 42% is in my experience perfect percentage for archive. Queries run much faster with just 58% of rows remaining in the tables. Sure sometimes we get completely wrong results from business perspective, but imho this is a worthy compromise.

1/ The number of rows you need to handle your business needs.

2/ The number of rows has no performances impact on DML statement executions assuming the tables are properly indexed.

you mention insert/update/delete, but usually "select" is important as well... And usually you don't archive data that you have to see "online"...

Maybe you can investigate the concept of "partitioned tables"? But franckly, seeing the question, you have probably a long learning curve in front of you and working correctly with partitioning demands quite some experience -anyway, it is never too early (neither too late ;-) to learn.
