Hi
We are hosting a database for a customer and they have requested that we enable sqlnet encryption.
Is sqlnet encryption available in Standard edition? I thought it was an Enterprise edition feature.
Many thanks
James |

From 10g R2 onwards network encryption is not part of Oracle Advanced Encryption Option any more and is available in SE as well.
A quote from 19c Licensing Guide:
"Network encryption (native network encryption, network data integrity, and SSL/TLS) and strong authentication services (Kerberos, PKI, and RADIUS) are no longer part of Oracle Advanced Security and are available in all licensed editions of all supported releases of Oracle Database."
